As a speaker, Shelby Ledgerwood of Savant Wines has been retained by various marketing companies to conduct wine education seminars for numerous notable audiences, including:

• Retail – Costco, Gelson’s Markets,
  Whole Foods Market, Sur La Table
• Service – The Patina Restaurant Group,
  Wyndham Hotels, The Mission Inn
• Associations – The Society of Wine Educators,
  The UCLA Graduate Student Association

Topics are customized per seminar, per client, and the level of information can be set at introductory, intermediate or complex.  Examples of past topics include: ‘The Great Eight’, ‘The Terroirs of Burgundy’ and ‘Napa vs. Bordeaux’.

Additionally, the seminar or event style can also be customized to suit:

• Wine Reception
  A casual walk-around environment allowing for easy networking and flexibility. Grouping of wines at various tables with 1 or more speakers on-hand to discuss.
• Wine Dinner
  A sit-down dinner (or lunch) with wines paired for each course. We will work with your restaurant, hotel or banquet facility to create ideal food and wine pairings. Speaker topic can be customized to suit the wines and audience.
• Wine Seminar
  A structured, sit-down tasting, covering a wine topic of choice.  Topic, wines and visual presentation can be customized to suit the audience.
